Rocket Rumble Season 2

New maps, 1v1 duels, and a battle-pass track — confirmed from the Roblox listing, not from guessed names.

Season 2

Season 2 is the first live event window this wiki can pin to the Roblox page. Around 6–7 June 2026, Rocket Rumble advertised SEASON 2 with the subtitle NEW MAPS AND DUELS [1V1]. A Korean listing for the same window also mentioned a new battle pass. Those three pillars — extra maps, a 1v1 queue, and a seasonal track — are the whole confirmed package. This page explains how they sit on top of the original Free For All, and how to check that they are still live before you spend an evening grinding.

Rocket Rumble itself launched on 31 March 2026. It is a Headshot Games Roblox FPS where every fighter carries a rocket launcher and nothing else. Matches cap at six players. Challenge-based unlocks, Coins, crates, gloves, and ranked badges were already part of that loop. Season 2 did not turn the game into a hero shooter or a large-team mode. It added a second way to queue and more arenas to rocket-jump across.

If you just came back after a break, redeem codes first, then run getting started so lobby pads, queues, and Coins make sense before you open a pass panel.

What the Roblox page actually said

The English events block used two lines: SEASON 2 and NEW MAPS AND DUELS [1V1]. That is advertising copy, not a patch manifesto. It confirms:

  • A season branded Season 2 (not Season 1.5, not a fan number).
  • New maps in the rotation. It does not name those maps.
  • Duels [1V1] as a distinct queue. It does not describe round length, score target, or ranked rules.

The Korean listing added new maps and a new battle pass for a start window around 6 June 2026. That is enough to say a seasonal reward track shipped with the event. It is not enough to name the track, the free-versus-paid split, or the XP curve. If a creator prints a pass title this wiki has never seen in the client, treat it as unverified until you open the same panel yourself.

Headshot Games has not published a public Trello. Do not hunt a roadmap board that does not exist. Use the links hub for the Roblox game, group, and Discord URLs, and Discord and group for how to join them.

New maps, without guessing titles

Season 2 promised extra maps. Until Headshot Games prints names in the lobby or on Discord, this wiki will not invent them. What you can do instead:

  • Load the current rotation and note geometry yourself: high pads for rocket jumps, tight corridors that punish splash, open tiles that reward air control.
  • Compare FFA habits versus 1v1 habits on the same layout. A six-player scramble wants different peeks than a duel.
  • Keep a short personal list, then cross-check it against maps after you have actually walked the tiles.

If a friend recites a cinematic map name, ask where they read it. If the answer is not the live client, the official Roblox experience, or a staff Discord post, it is not a fact yet.

Duels [1V1]

The second confirmed pillar is a 1v1 queue. Free For All teaches splash tracking against several rockets at once. Duels punish panic shots because there is only one opponent to farm, and every miss is information they can use. Practical differences you should feel in the first two rounds:

  • You cannot hide in third-party chaos. If you waste a rocket on a wall, you own the reload.
  • Self-damage still exists. Rocket jumps that win FFA space can lose a duel if you clip your own splash.
  • Queue identity matters. Do not assume the FFA spawn rules, score screen, or lobby size apply unchanged.

Read the dedicated duels guide before you spend Coins chasing a duel-only habit. The tier list is useful only after you know whether a glove or crate item actually changes jump height, slide, or splash in a 1v1 — not because a thumbnail called it “Season 2 meta.”

Battle-pass track

The Korean listing is the reason this wiki mentions a battle pass at all. Treat it as a seasonal reward track attached to Season 2. Then verify in the live lobby:

  • Is a pass panel visible from the hub?
  • Does it progress from matches, challenges, or both?
  • Which rewards are cosmetics, and which change movement or splash?

Do not grind a track name, tier label, or premium-versus-free split that this page does not print. If the panel is missing, the season may have ended, moved, or been renamed in a later client. That is a patch notes question, not a reason to invent a new season number.

Coins from Bonus_Code, discord, and Release still belong on the codes pad before you buy into a track. Group rewards from the Headshot Games Roblox group are a separate claim — join the group, then check in-game whether you need to rejoin the experience.

How Season 2 sits next to Free For All

The original loop is unchanged in its pillars: rocket launchers only, Free For All, challenge-based unlocks, six-player servers. Season 2 adds a fork:

  • Queue FFA to learn splash against multiple fighters and to farm challenges that still point at that mode.
  • Queue 1v1 when you want a clean read on peek timing and rocket-jump duels.
  • Use new maps as the reason to drop old lineups. A jump path that worked on a launch arena may be useless on a Season 2 layout.

If you only have time for one session, do this order: claim codes, skim getting started, pick FFA or duels on purpose, then glance at maps for the layout you actually loaded. Spend leftover Coins with the tier list only after you know which slot changes movement.

How to confirm Season 2 is still live

  1. Open the Roblox events and description block on Rocket Rumble.
  2. Spawn in the lobby and look for a 1v1 queue, extra map names or thumbnails, and a pass panel.
  3. Check the official Discord for staff posts. Developers post codes there; they also post when a season window moves.
  4. Compare what you saw with patch notes. The universe update on 24 August 2026 is a later stamp — it may have tweaked Season 2, ended a track, or done something the events tab no longer describes. Only the live client can tell you which.

Season 2 is a live event with three confirmed pillars, not a numbered patch and not a named atlas of maps. Play the queues that still exist, walk the arenas the client actually gives you, and let Discord plus the lobby correct this page when Headshot Games changes the banner.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Rocket Rumble players.

When did Season 2 start?

The Roblox events tab advertised Season 2 around 6–7 June 2026. Confirm the live lobby if you are reading this later; seasonal banners can move without a public numbered patch.

What did Season 2 add?

Confirmed pillars are new maps, 1v1 duels, and a battle-pass style track mentioned on the Korean listing. We do not invent map names or pass track titles.

Is Free For All gone?

No. Rocket Rumble is still a rocket-only Free For All with a six-player cap. Season 2 adds a 1v1 queue beside that loop. See duels.

Where do I learn the new arenas?

Load them in-game, then use maps. Do not trust unofficial map names until they appear in the client or a staff Discord post.

Should I buy the battle pass immediately?

First claim codes, join the group for group rewards, and check the live pass panel. This wiki does not name a track or print a fake XP table.

Where are official Season 2 links?

Use the links hub, the [Roblox game page](https://www.roblox.com/games/89704645856683/Rocket-Rumble), and Discord. There is no public Trello.
