Rocket Rumble Controls

Typical Roblox FPS inputs only. No invented keybinds, plus how players rocket-jump.

Controls

Rocket Rumble uses typical Roblox first-person shooter inputs. Headshot Games did not publish a custom bind table in the experience bio, so this page does not invent extra keys. If a control is not WASD, mouse look and fire, jump, or mobile tap-to-shoot, treat it as unverified. You still need this page, because a rocket-only six-player rumble punishes sloppy aim more than a normal Roblox gun game.

You play in first person. Yellow blocky hands hold a green-warhead RPG. The camera is the weapon. Arenas are colourful tiled blocks with short sightlines, so a twitchy mouse and a late jump matter more than a hotbar of guns you do not have.

PC and mobile, as far as we can verify

On PC and keyboard, move with WASD. Look with the mouse. Fire with the mouse click you already use in other Roblox FPS titles. Jump with Space. That is the verified set. Do not expect this wiki to list crouch, sprint, inspect, or reload binds we have not confirmed in Rocket Rumble.

On mobile, use the on-screen stick to move, tap-to-shoot to fire, and the jump button to leave the floor. Thumb placement is the whole skill. If your fire button covers the look area, you will splash yourself while trying to peek a corner.

Console play is possible through Roblox, but we will not list bumper and trigger labels we cannot verify for this specific experience. If you are on a gamepad, start from Roblox’s usual analog look and fire, then test in a quiet lobby rather than trusting a copied bind graphic.

After you can move without walking off tiles, open the sensitivity tool. Rocket splash is large. A sensitivity that works in a hitscan Roblox FPS can over-flick here. Turn down until you can track a strafing fighter across a tiled wall without spinning past them. Turn up only if you cannot check a doorway in one motion.

What you actually do with those inputs

Movement is not a separate gadget. You walk, jump, and fire. Players add rocket jumping as a community technique: shoot the floor at your feet or a nearby surface so the explosion throws you. That is not a named official ability on this wiki. It is a player habit borrowed from rocket arenas. Learn the rocket jump page after you stop eating your own splash every fight.

Because the lobby is six players, you will get hit from off-screen. Strafe while you look. Jump to break a predictable walk line, not as a panic button. Peek tiled corners by sliding the camera out, firing splash at feet or walls, and pulling back. How to Play covers that fight rhythm. This page only cares that your hands can do it.

Do not hunt a scope bind. The launcher is a splash tool. If you need a cleaner duel, queue Season 2 1v1 duels instead of searching for an ADS key that may not exist. Map geometry still matters; maps explains how tiled rooms and height changes feel without naming maps.

Lobby inputs that are not combat

Before binds matter, the lobby still has pads you walk onto. The hexagonal Codes pad sits between the spin wheel and leaderboards. Walking onto it opens the Codes window. That is an interact-by-proximity step, not a secret key. Redeem from the codes list with the steps on how to redeem. Codes are case-sensitive.

You will also walk past the spin wheel and leaderboards. Looking at them does not require a special bind. Rank badges can show in that social space; Bronze IV has been seen. Join the Headshot Games group from Roblox if you want group rewards. Discord lives in the game bio; keep the invite on the wiki Discord page.

If a third-party script promises auto-aim or auto-jump, that is not a control scheme. It is an account risk. The scripts hub exists as a warning, not as an input guide.

Warm-up before you blame the mouse

Spend two minutes in the lobby walking figure-eights around the Codes pad so WASD and look stay linked. Queue Free For All, not duels, for the first warm-up. Fire one rocket at a far wall, one at a nearby floor, and one at your feet from a jump so you feel splash size. If those three shots feel random, your sensitivity is the problem, not the playlist.

Then play one full match as a score chase until the lobby kill target or match end. Do not reset controls every death. Change sensitivity between matches, not mid-fight. After the warm-up, read Getting Started if you still have not claimed codes, and Farm Coins if you are already thinking about crates. Gloves and crates do not change the bind list; they change how your hands look in first person. Check gloves, crates, and loadouts after the hands can already aim.

Season 2 notes on Season 2 will not add mystery keys. They add maps, duels, and a battle pass. Keep this controls page boring on purpose. Boring binds plus clean splash beat a fantasy key list every six-player rumble.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Rocket Rumble players.

Typical Roblox FPS: WASD to move, mouse to look and fire, Space to jump. This wiki does not invent extra keybinds.

How do I shoot on mobile?

Use tap-to-shoot with the on-screen stick and jump button. Keep the fire control from covering your look drag.

Is rocket jump a bound ability?

No. Players rocket-jump by shooting their feet or a nearby surface. See the rocket jump guide. It is a community technique.

Where do I change sensitivity?

Use Roblox look settings plus this wiki's sensitivity tool. Adjust between matches, not after every death.
