Patch Notes

Headshot Games has not published a public, numbered changelog for Rocket Rumble. There is no official 1.2.0 string this wiki can cite, no Trello column of tasks, and no patch manifesto with bullet-perfect balance numbers. This page is therefore a verification method, not a fake log. It lists dates we can actually pin, the channels that carry real news, and the in-game checks you should run after the client updates.

If you wanted a story about Season 2’s pillars, that lives on Season 2. If you wanted URLs, use the links hub. If you wanted codes after a bump, open codes and the Discord page.

Dates this wiki can actually pin

These stamps are confirmed. They are not patch IDs.

  • 31 March 2026 — Rocket Rumble released on Roblox as a rocket-launcher-only Free For All with challenge-based unlocks and a six-player server cap.
  • Around 6–7 June 2026 — Roblox event copy advertised SEASON 2 with NEW MAPS AND DUELS [1V1]. A Korean listing for the same window mentioned a new battle pass. Details: Season 2.
  • 24 August 2026 — The universe was updated. That is a Roblox-side stamp. It proves the experience received a newer universe build. It does not tell you which maps moved, whether the pass track changed, or whether splash damage was touched.

Anything else — “hotfix Tuesday,” a decimal version, a named map drop — is unofficial until you see it in the live lobby, on the Roblox game page, or in a staff message on the official Discord.

Where Headshot Games actually posts

Use this order. Do not skip to a random aggregator.

  1. In-game lobby. Queue buttons, map thumbnails, pass panels, crate text, and glove stats are the first source. If the UI contradicts a wiki sentence, the UI wins.
  2. Roblox experience page. Events and the description block are how Season 2 was announced. Re-read them after a universe bump.
  3. Discord. The invite in the game bio is the official Discord. Developers post codes there. Press has described a codes channel; look for staff posts rather than guessing a channel name from memory.
  4. Roblox group. The Headshot Games group is where group rewards start. Join it, then rejoin the experience if a reward does not appear.

There is no public Trello. Do not waste a session searching for a roadmap board. The links hub collects the destinations that do exist.

Player-side checklist after a bump

Run this after you notice a new universe date, a Discord staff post, or a lobby UI change. Write the answers down; do not keep them in your head.

  1. Codes pad. Try Bonus_Code, discord, and Release exactly as written. They are case-sensitive. Note failures. Then open codes and Discord to see whether a new string replaced them.
  2. Queues. Is Free For All still there? Is the Season 2 1v1 queue still there? If duels vanished, stop grinding a duel challenge until the button returns. See duels.
  3. Maps. Load one match and screenshot the rotation. Compare it with your last session. Use maps as a notebook, not as a list of unpublished titles.
  4. Pass panel. If Season 2’s battle-pass track is still visible, note whether challenges point at FFA, duels, or both. If the panel is gone, do not invent a Season 3 name.
  5. Movement items. Gloves, crates, and ranked badges can change jump height and slide. Recheck the tier list only after you feel a difference in-game.
  6. Group rewards. Confirm you are still in the group. Some Roblox experiences require a rejoin after a group join; Rocket Rumble’s official copy promises group rewards, so test it instead of assuming.

New or returning players should sandwich this checklist with getting started so they are not debugging a pass track before they know where the codes pad is.

Categories a patch might touch (not a changelog)

When the client changes, it usually falls into one of these buckets. This is a reading guide, not a claim that all of them shipped on 24 August 2026.

  • Modes. FFA versus 1v1 availability, lobby size (still treat six as the live cap unless the client shows otherwise), and queue names.
  • Arenas. Added, removed, or retuned layouts. Do not assign names this wiki has not seen in the UI.
  • Seasonal track. Battle-pass visibility, challenge text, and whether rewards are cosmetic or mechanical.
  • Economy. Code rewards, crate costs, Coin sinks. Codes can expire without a blog post.
  • Combat feel. Splash radius, self-damage, rocket-jump height, projectile speed. You will feel these before anyone writes a number.
  • Progression. Challenge-based unlocks, ranked badges, glove slots.

If you cannot put a change into one of those buckets from the live UI, you do not have a patch note. You have a rumour.

Codes around updates

Updates are the most common time for a new code, and also the most common time for an old code to die. The three strings this wiki currently lists are Bonus_Code, discord, and Release. Redeem them on the lobby pad between sessions, not in the middle of a duel. Developers post replacements on Discord; this wiki’s codes page is the mirror, not the origin.

Do not type RELEASE in all caps just because a screenshot did. Case matters. If the pad returns an error, stop repeating the same string and go read a staff message.

How this page stays honest

We will add a dated bullet here only when we can point at the Roblox events tab, a universe stamp, the live lobby, or a staff Discord post. We will not fill space with invented hotfixes so the article looks “complete.”

Until then, the useful habit is small: after any bump, run the checklist, play one FFA and one 1v1 if both queues exist, walk one new layout with maps, and only then spend Coins against the tier list. That sequence beats a fake 2.0.1 blog every time.

Keep the official Discord and the Roblox group joined so you are not learning about a code expiry from a random video. When the live banner and this page disagree, screenshot the banner, trust the lobby, and treat this article as a checklist that needs a new dated line — not as a licence to guess the missing patch number.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Rocket Rumble players.

Where are the official Rocket Rumble patch notes?

There is no public numbered changelog or Trello. Verify changes in the live lobby, on the [Roblox game page](https://www.roblox.com/games/89704645856683/Rocket-Rumble), and in the [official Discord](https://discord.gg/qfkyQBzRx).

What does the 24 August 2026 universe update include?

The date confirms the universe was updated. It does not name maps, pass tracks, or balance numbers. Check the lobby, then compare with Season 2.

How often should I recheck codes after a patch?

Every time the universe date or Discord staff feed moves. Redeem **Bonus_Code**, **discord**, and **Release** on the pad and keep the live list on codes.

Did a patch remove Free For All?

Not in any confirmed note. Rocket Rumble is still a rocket-only FFA with Season 2 adding 1v1. Confirm both queues in-game and see duels.

Should I trust YouTube patch titles?

Only after the same words appear in the client or a staff Discord post. Use getting started and maps for playable habits, not for invented version strings.
