Rocket Rumble Best Loadouts
Playstyle kits for FFA and Season 2 duels. No invented glove or crate names.
The best loadout in Rocket Rumble is the one that matches the playlist you actually queued. Headshot Games did not ship a gunsmith. Every fighter carries a rocket launcher ?first-person shots show a green warhead ?and the 31 March 2026 launch plus Season 2 1v1 duels is still a six-player-max rumble at heart. What you can change is gloves, cosmetics, Coin spend, and settings. This page builds playstyle kits, not a fake named inventory. The live catalog changes. If a creator list depends on a glove or crate name you cannot see in the lobby, throw the list out.
Start from the default kit: yellow blocky hands, green warhead, Bronze IV lobby badge. Then pick a mode. Free For All teaches splash. Duels punish panic. Maps decide whether height or tight peeks matter more. Redeem codes before you spend. Rank glove categories on the gloves tier list and crate value on the crates tier list. Equip steps stay on the gloves guide.
Starter kit: default warhead and yellow hands
Play this until splash makes sense. Do not crate-roll your way out of the tutorial.
Launcher. Rocket only. Keep the green warhead where you can see it.
Gloves. Default yellow blocky hands. They are readable. That is a feature.
Economy. Claim codes. Join the Headshot Games group if you want group rewards. Do not open cosmetic crates. Farm Coins in matches instead; the farm Coins page is the grind.
Settings. If the rocket feels floaty, fix sensitivity with the sensitivity tool before you blame the default gloves.
Mode. Free For All first. Six players is enough chaos to learn self-damage. Read getting started and rocket jumping in the same session.
This kit is S-tier for the first hour and remains valid forever. A noisy cosmetic that hides the warhead is a downgrade from yellow defaults.
Movement FFA kit
Use this when you already understand splash and you die to stacked rockets in a six-player lobby.
Gloves. Movement category. Jump height, slide, or aerial recovery. No invented names ?if the pair does not change the same ledge you always jump, it is not this kit.
Cosmetics. Only if they keep first-person contrast. Yellow-adjacent beats camouflage.
Economy. Spend Coins on the cheapest path to a movement pair: challenge, group reward, or a crate opened during a Double Coins Boost. Vanity rolls wait.
Mode. Free For All. Take high tiles, fire, leave. You are not holding an angle for a duel.
Duel peek kit
Season 2 added 1v1 duels. Copying the FFA kit here is how you donate rounds.
Gloves. Readable first-person hands first. A small movement bump is welcome; a busy skin that covers the green warhead is not. Confirm the look-down test from the gloves guide.
Play. One rocket at a peek, then relocate. Panic double-taps into your own splash lose duels. Practice on the duels guide and the arena notes on maps.
Economy. Coin-efficient practice beats a flex crate. If you are still Bronze IV in the lobby, you are not gated out of this kit. We do not invent a higher rank requirement.
Coin farm kit
Use this when the shop is tempting and your wallet is empty.
Gloves. Whatever you already own, preferably readable yellow or a movement pair. Do not buy a new cosmetic to farm.
Loop. Codes, Double Coins Boost, then matches. Challenges and the Season 2 battle-pass track are part of the farm if you were going to queue anyway. Open crates only when the crates value test says the output is a movement category you lack.
Mode. Whichever playlist you survive longer. Dead players farm nothing. FFA can be faster if you already move. Duels can be cleaner if FFA tilt-spending is the problem.
Ranked lobby kit from Bronze IV
The only rank this wiki will name is Bronze IV, because that badge is on the lobby card. This kit is for players who treat that badge as a season-long classroom, not a shame sticker.
Gloves. Movement if you have it, defaults if you do not. Fashion later.
Focus. Splash discipline, jump timing, and one playlist at a time. Switching FFA and duels every match resets your reads.
Spend. Codes and challenges first. Group rewards second. Crates last. Check Season 2 so you are not grinding retired challenges.
Social. Catalog arguments belong in the Headshot Games Discord, not in a panic shop session after a loss streak.
Map-flex kit without invented map names
Season 2 added maps. We will not name them. We will change the kit by geometry.
Open tiled floors. Height wins. Movement gloves and rocket jumps matter more. Take space, splash, leave.
Tight indoor pockets. Peek timing wins. Readable hands and a clean warhead matter more. A jump bump is optional; a noisy cosmetic is a problem.
Mixed arenas. Keep the movement pair equipped and play the room you are in, not the kit you wish you had. If you cannot tell the room apart yet, you need maps, not a crate.
What every kit shares
Rocket launchers only. Max six players. Coins into crates, skins, and gloves. Double Coins Boost before vanity. Challenge unlocks and group rewards as free rows. No invented item names. No ranks above Bronze IV. Sensitivity as a loadout slot. Rebuild after a catalog change instead of screenshotting a video inventory.
When a match ends, do not open the shop on tilt. Open the playstyle that failed.
Post-match splash versus direct review
After each session, sort your deaths into two buckets.
Splash deaths. You stood in a crowd, jumped late, or fired at your own feet. The fix is the movement FFA kit, more rocket jumping, and fewer cosmetic crates. Equip readable hands and take height.
Direct-hit deaths. You lost a peek, missed the warhead in glove art, or panic-fired in a 1v1. The fix is the duel peek kit, the duels guide, and a look-down test. If the camera is clean and you still miss, use the sensitivity tool rather than rolling another crate.
If both buckets are full, you are still on the starter kit, and that is allowed. Go back to yellow hands, claim codes, and play one more Free For All before you touch the Season 2 shop. Loadouts on this wiki are playstyles you can run tomorrow, even if Headshot Games rotates every named row overnight.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Rocket Rumble players.
What is the best loadout in Rocket Rumble right now?
The best kit is a playstyle, not a named inventory. Use movement gloves for six-player FFA and readable first-person hands for duels. The live catalog changes, so we do not publish fake item lists.
Should I replace the default yellow gloves?
Only for a movement category or a cosmetic that stays readable. Default yellow blocky hands are a valid kit. Noisy skins that hide the green warhead are a downgrade.
How do FFA and duel loadouts differ?
FFA rewards jump height and splash discipline in a max six-player lobby. Duels reward peek timing and a clean warhead view. Do not copy one kit into the other.
Where should I spend Coins for a better loadout?
Codes and a Double Coins Boost first, then movement glove categories. Cosmetic crates are last. See farm Coins and the crates tier list.
Does Bronze IV lock loadouts?
No. Bronze IV is the lobby badge we can see. These playstyle kits work at that badge. We do not invent a higher rank gate.
Is the video on this page an official guide?
No. It is early Rocket Rumble FPS footage used as a gameplay reference. Confirm loadout slots in your own lobby and on Season 2 notes.
